There’s good news for Missouri Gas Energy customers in western Missouri.

The company has received approval from the Missouri Public Service Commission to reduce it’s cost of gas.

The reduction will be just over 7.5-cents per hundred cubic feet of gas.

Changes in market prices, transportation fees and storage fees have caused the reduction.

The new rate reduction goes into effect Friday, April 1.
